JASX

DJ and producer of electronic music under the pseudonym of Jasx. Beginning his studies in 1996 at the Maldonado Conservatory (bass and Solfeo), he manages to complement his self-taught knowledge in Guitar and percussion inherited from his parent's Musicians.

In 1999 he entered the Conservatory of Buen Ayre in La Reja, Buenos Aires, studying Harmony, Guitar, and Drums.

For things of life, he flies to Japan in 2003 and together with Eduardo Kunizawa they form the band “Katarsis” in the city of Shizuoka, specializing in progressive instrumental music. He returns to Uruguay in 2007 and reunites with the band and decides to continue the project culminating in a band contest marking the end of the band for different reasons. At the same time, he plays with Santiago Beis a fusion of Jazz, candombe, electronics and they manage to record a demo with the name of "TEX" that gave the duo a name. From there, his taste for production and electronics immediately comes and continued his self-taught studies in Audio and different DAWs.

In 2012 he joins as a drummer the band Polaroids with which he manages to record the album "Caminos". Already at that time, they began to listen to their experimental tracks on the networks where a defined genre wasnever seen but if you crave creation. In 2014 after playing at the “Graffiti” awards, the band dissolves and decides to works with full potential in electronic music production to date.

Today he has more than 100 of his own compositions ranging from Downtempo, Minimal, Progressive, to the most elaborate Techno, producing for Minemal Records, EP Records, Vitamina Recordings, Strato Records, Dark Mirror Records, MetanolA, Arey, Records Group,  Modus Vivendi Records  and independently. He belongs to the collective of Djs FUSION as a resident and you can find hissessions on the most popular platforms.
